Kurt G. Schmidt is the author of the novel “Annapolis Misfit” and a coming-of-age memoir that was a finalist in a Bread Loaf creative nonfiction competition. His essays in Eclectica Magazine are excerpts from a road-trip memoir, a European odyssey that inspired him to become a writer (see “Links”). His parenting essays have appeared in the Boston Globe, Bacopa Literary Review, Discretionary Love, The Good Men Project, Parent Co, Grown and Flown, and Your Teen Magazine. Other essays and memoirs have appeared in The Ravens Perch, Snapdragon, Storyhouse, The Avenue, Please See Me, and the “Adelaide Literary Awards Anthology.”
